As if the Raiders offense did not already have enough problems, the team's top two running backs are both officially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos according to Tashan Reed of The Athletic.
Zamir White is dealing with a quad injury and Alexander Mattison has an ankle injury. Newither back is very good but they did eat up snaps and carries, albeit for very little yardage.
Veteran Ameer Abdullah is expected to get the start. Abdullah hasn’t seen double-digit carries since 2017, so we should get plenty of rookie Dylan Laube touches as well. As underdogs to a stout Denver defense, this isn’t a great spot for either running back, but there are touches up for grabs. Abdullah enters the weekend as a low-end RB3 while Laube is a dart-throw RB4.
