In an update to our previous story, Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has already been declared out for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Dobbins, who sustained a knee sprain last week against the Ravens, could miss more than this Sunday’s game against Atlanta, according to Rapoport. Gus Edwards will likely operate as the Chargers’ lead back with Dobbins sidelined, and rookie Kimani Vidal could take on pass game work. Hassan Haskins, meanwhile, will threaten Edwards’ goal line role.
