The Houston Texans have signed tight end Brevin Jordan to a one-year contract extension despite being on injured reserve according to Ian Rapoporrt of NFL.com.
The fourth-year tight end was the subject of preseason hype heading into his contract year with the team, but a torn ACL suffered in Week 2 limited him to just two catches for seven yards on the year. Now under contract through next season, Jordan, who turns 25 next summer, will get a chance at another breakout season in 2025.
