San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has faced criticism in recent weeks for underwhelming performances. Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle noted that Samuel has accumulated just 97 total yards over his last four games.

In Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, Samuel managed only two catches for 22 yards. He is on pace to finish with fewer than 900 receiving yards for the third consecutive season, potentially falling short of 800 yards this year.

On Monday, Samuel pushed back against the notion that he is struggling, instead attributing his lack of production to limited opportunities David Bonilla of 49ers Webzone reports

"Not struggling at all just not getting the ball!!!!!!!" Samuel wrote.  

He emphasized that his comments shouldn't be viewed as criticism toward any of his teammates, only a desire for more opportunities.
