Veteran tight end Hayden Hurst is expected to be activated from injured reserve and play on Thursday night against the Broncos according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Hurst was placed on injured reserve with a hip injury in late November. He was designated for return early this week and has been listed as a full participant ever since. Hurst caught just seven passes for 65 yards before going down and won’t have any fantasy viability. Stone Smartt will remain the Chargers' No.1 TE as long as Will Dissley remains out.
