Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh was proud of Justin Herbert's performance despite the quarterback throwing four interceptions in Saturday's 32-12 wild-card loss to the Houston Texans, Daniel Valente of theScore reports.

Harbaugh said postgame that Herbert played like a "complete beast," according to ESPN's Kris Rhim. He also credited the Texans' pass rush for disrupting the pocket.

Herbert was picked off more times Saturday than he was in all the regular season (three).

Harbaugh took accountability for the loss, telling reporters, "Not being the better team today, I'm accountable for that. That's on me," per Kevin Michie of Wildz World of Sports.

The Chargers won their final three games of the regular season to finish with an 11-6 record in Harbaugh's return to the NFL.

"One thing I can promise you is that the sun will come up tomorrow, and we'll be attacking it with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind," Harbaugh said.
