Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean suffered a torn patellar tendon in his knee in Sunday's win over the Packers and is out for the rest of the season according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
The 24-year-old Dean had a breakout season for Philadelphia in his third year out of Georgia. He totaled 128 tackles with 3.0 sacks, four passes defensed, an interception, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.
He had a pair of tackles for loss before exiting Sunday’s win over Green Bay. Dean has a long recovery ahead and will likely miss the start of the 2025 season.
