Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken isn't a fan of interviewing for head coaching vacancies during the postseason, Andrew Dixon of theScore reports.
"The way the system is set up is unfortunate, but it is what it is," Monken said, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. "But I'm excited to play the (Buffalo) Bills. That's where my mind's at."
He added: "They've been trying to figure it out. There's no easy way. There's no easy solution, so it is what it is."
Monken interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars' opening Thursday and will reportedly meet with the Chicago Bears on Friday. The Ravens play in Buffalo on Sunday.
Head coach candidates on active playoff teams are able to participate in virtual interviews before the end of divisional-round games.Monken spent time in the offseason preparing for potential head coaching interviews.
"It's a compliment to this organization - our players and our coaches - that other organizations have an interest in myself or any of our coaches," Monken said. "That's just a fact."
