The Jacksonville Jaguars are continuing to reshape their staff under new head coach Liam Coen, Paul Bretl of Jaguars Wire reports.
According to John Shipley of Jaguars on Sports Illustrated, the team is parting ways with their director of strength and conditioning coach Cedric Scott.
Scott has been the Jaguars’ director of strength and conditioning since 2022 when he was promoted to that role when Doug Pederson took over as the head coach.
Scott had been in the Jaguars’ organization since 2012, working under five different head coaches during that span as the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Before that, he was on the Southern Miss strength and conditioning staff from 2009-2011.
Shipley also adds that finding the new strength and conditioning coach appears to fall under Executive Vice President Tony Boselli’s job description, although I would imagine that Coen will be a part of that search as well.
