Kadarius Toney seemed to address his recent arrest in since-deleted posts on his social media, Christian Arnold of The New York Post reports.
Toney, 26, was arrested last week after he allegedly put his hands around the neck of a woman who described the NFL receiver as her boyfriend during a 911 call first reported by TMZ on Thursday.
Toney seemed to address what had happened in Instagram posts viewed by the outlet.
“MFs say anything when they think they right,” Toney wrote on a picture on his Instagram story.
“& they believe anything…. Long as it’s bad,” it continued.
The photo that contained the caption showed Toney wearing a mask and hat near the middle of an unidentified street.
The post was deleted minutes after it was posted, TMZ reported.
News about Toney’s Feb. 6 arrest — which stemmed from a Han. 14 14 incident in Douglasville, Georgia — came to light Wednesday.
According to a police report, Toney had placed “his hand around [the victim’s] throat with enough force to her to be unable to breathe, leave red marks on her neck and cause Petechial Hemorrhaging in her eyes.”
