The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed defensive end Charles Omenihu to a one-year, $7 million contract according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Omenihu had an abbreviated season in 2024 while returning from a late 2023 ACL tear but he still notched 12 quarterback pressures and one sack in six games. This is a smart deal for the Chiefs. Bolstering the pass rush via a low-cost, one-year deal allows them to continue searching for valuable free agents.
