The Los Angeles Rams are in the market for cornerback help and will almost certainly address the position in the NFL draft this week. There’s a possibility they’ll add a playmaker outside the draft, too, Cameron DaSilva of The Rams Wire reports.
Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey is on the trade block after he and the team mutually agreed to seek a deal. The Dolphins haven’t found a trade partner yet, but there’s a chance he’ll be moved at some point soon.
Les Snead and Sean McVay spoke about the possibility of acquiring Ramsey during Tuesday’s pre-draft press conference and neither ruled it out. In fact, Snead even said he’s had discussions with the Dolphins about a deal.
McVay sounds open to bringing Ramsey back, though he admitted there are “a lot of layers” to it.
Ramsey just signed an extension with the Dolphins last offseason, which is worth $72.1 million for three years. That deal will kick in starting in 2026, so it's a hefty contract for the Rams to take on.
