Jalen Ramsey's relationship with Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is now 'irreparably broken,' which is the reason why the team has decided it will trade the seven-time Pro Bowl cornerback, Adam Stites of Dolphis Wire reports.  This according to OutKick's Armando Salguero.

Shortly after Salguero's report was published, Ramsey posted a cryptic tweet that said he was ready to get away from people who are "okay with mediocre."

It seems Salguero wasn't the only one who was told this version of the story. SportsKeeda's Tony Pauline reported earlier Thursday that multiple sources told him McDaniel has "rubbed a lot of the veterans the wrong way."

McDaniel isn't the first coach to be at odds with Ramsey. While a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the cornerback clashed with head coach Doug Marrone on the sideline in a 2019 game and was traded by the team about a month later. When the Dolphins parted ways with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, Ramsey tweeted that he'd "never forgive" the coach for not utilizing him and Xavien Howard correctly.
