The San Francisco 49ers announced the return of a familiar face, re-signing tight end Ross Dwelley to a one-year deal, 49ers Webzone reports. Dwelley spent his first six NFL seasons with the 49ers and last season with the Atlanta Falcons.

Dwelley rejoins George Kittle in the 49ers' tight end room, which also includes Luke Farrell, Mason Pline, Jake Tonges, and Brayden Willis. Dwelley earned just one catch for five yards in his only season with the Falcons.
