The Jacksonville Jaguars are making an addition to their front office under GM James Gladstone, Paul Bretl of Jaguars Wire reports.
According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the Jaguars are hiring Brian Xanders to a front office role with the team. What Xanders' exact job responsibilities will include was not reported by Jones.
Xanders got his start in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons back in 1994, and he remained with the team through 2007, holding a variety of different roles from working on the player personnel side of things to working with the football operations staff.
In 2008, Xanders became the Denver Broncos' assistant general manager and was then named the GM in 2009 and held that title through the 2011 season. Xanders' teams would go 20-28 during that stretch with one playoff appearance.
