Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be heading to Dallas to square off against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys on Nov. 27 (Week 13) for a Thanksgiving Day game, CBS announced Wednesday on CBS Mornings.

Mahomes is set to play in Arlington, Texas, for the first time in his illustrious pro career. The Texas native has faced the Cowboys once, fending off Dallas in a 19-9 victory in Kansas City in 2021, but failed to throw a touchdown against the team he rooted for as a kid 80 miles east in Tyler, Texas.

Prescott also went scoreless in that 2021 matchup against Mahomes and Co., but has a successful showing under his belt against the Chiefs, throwing two TDs in a 28-17 home win when Mahomes watched from the sideline as a rookie in 2017.
