On Wednesday, the Titans made a few more roster moves as they work toward the 2025 season, Mark Mihalko of Titans Wire reports.
Tennessee claimed linebacker Anfernee Orji off waivers from the New Orleans Saints. Titans fans may be familiar with Orji, who spent his college career at Vanderbilt. He originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2023 NFL draft.
He finally made his way to the active roster during the 2024 season, where he became a vital cog on the Saints’ special teams. He saw action on 82 percent of those snaps over 16 games and finished the season with 30 tackles.
.To make room for Orji, the Titans parted ways with running back Jabari Small. The former Tennessee Volunteers running back spent 2024 bouncing between the Titans’ practice squad and active roster.
