Steelers fans should prepare themselves for potentially another Brandon Aiyuk situation — as an NFL insider has linked Pittsburgh to Saints WR Chris Olave, Andrew Vasquez of Steelers Wire reports.

According to insider John Franscella, the Steelers “love” the idea of acquiring Olave, but they are “far apart on any type of deal.”

Olave, a talented former first-round pick, could demand more draft capital than the Steelers received from the Cowboys in exchange for George Pickens — but the Saints might also be interested in rebuilding quickly, potentially giving in to Pittsburgh’s offers sooner rather than later.

Will the Steelers and Saints get closer on a deal as OTAs and training camp rapidly approach, or is Olave another pipe dream like trading for Aiyuk?
