The San Francisco 49ers have signed veteran kicker Greg Joseph to compete with Jake Moody, who struggled during the 2024 season, David Bonilla of 49ers Webzone reports.
Agent Brett Tessler announced that his client, Greg Joseph, is signing a one-year deal with the 49ers.
Joseph, 30, entered the NFL in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic, initially signing with the Miami Dolphins. Throughout his career, he has kicked for the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and New York Jets.
In 75 career games, Joseph has made 82.3% of his field goal attempts and 90.8% of his extra-point tries. He has converted 71 of 72 kicks inside 40 yards and also brings extensive kickoff experience.
