Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell has big expectations for wide receiver Jameson Williams entering the 2025 season, Liam Fox of theScore reports.
"I don't want to get too ahead of ourselves in OTAs, but (there's) so much versatility with him," Campbell told reporters Friday. "There's so many things we can do just with his routes on the outside. I mean, we can do things inside ... just with his speed, and he's gotten so much stronger."
Campbell described Williams as a "hard cover" due to his improved cutting and change of direction that he's added this offseason to complement his elite speed.
"The sky's the limit for him," Campbell added. "He's exactly where we want him to be right now. ... We expect him to have a huge season. We really do, man. He's going to be one of these guys that we're going to lean on this year and is really going to be big for us."
Williams had a breakout 2024 season, topping 1,000 yards for the first time to go along with 58 receptions and seven touchdowns.
