Brutal Record-Breaking Weather Conditions In The Forecast For NFL Divisional Round Matchup That Could Create a Major Advantage For One Team

The forecast indicates freezing-cold conditions for Sunday’s Divisional Round game between the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.
Ahead of the Chicago Bears’ Wild Card Round game against the Green Bay Packers, the forecast called for a heavy snow storm at Soldier Field. Much to the chagrin of football fans, however, there was no snow to be seen during the game.
If the forecast is accurate this time? Bears fans will want to wear extra layers of clothing to stay warm.
Kickoff for the Divisional Round is 6:30 p.m. EST (5:30 p.m. CST). AccuWeather’s forecast for Sunday evening in the Windy City calls for -11° conditions with a real feel of -19°. The forecast also shows 24 km/h wind gusts, a 44 percent chance of precipitation and 0.20 centimeters of snow.
We know the forecast was wrong for Saturday’s epic Wild Card Round game. But if you’re a Chicago Bears fan, it doesn’t hurt to dress extra warm just in case.

Chicago enters Sunday’s game as the underdog, but these conditions should favor them against a Rams squad that plays their home games in a dome.
The Bears are looking to reach the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 2010. LA has gotten there twice with Sean McVay, in 2018 and 2021. They won Super Bowl 56 in the latter year.
Caleb Williams & Chicago Bears Look To Keep Cinderella Season Going

It hasn’t always been pretty, but it has always been dramatic. Caleb Williams has orchestrated seven (!) fourth-quarter comebacks/game-winning drives this year. Erasing a 21-3 deficit against the rival Packers marked the biggest comeback in Bears playoff history.
The Bears stunned the NFL world by winning the NFC North this year. Beating Green Bay in the Wild Card Round was undoubtedly this franchise’s biggest highlight since winning the 2006 NFC Championship Game.
Now, we wait and see if Ben Johnson’s cardiac Bears can keep the season going by beating a Rams squad that many view as the team to beat in the postseason. If this season has been an indicator of anything, it’s that the Rams-Bears tilt will go down to the wire.
