Anthony Richardson's holding out hope that he'll be ready to go by Sunday, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.

Richardson is questionable for the Indianapolis Colts' Week 5 road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If he's unable to go, veteran Joe Flacco would get the starting nod.

Richardson injured his hip during a Week 4 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was optimistic of playing against the Jags, but the Colts could err on the side of caution with their 22-year-old franchise quarterback.

The Colts, however, will be without running back Jonathan Taylor, who has been ruled out due to a sprained ankle also sustained against Pittsburgh.

Coach Shane Steichen said Friday that Indianapolis will employ a "running back by committee" approach versus Jacksonville.
