Indianapolis has requested a head coaching interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, Nate Atkins of the Indianapolis Star reports.  This according to an NFL Network report. He makes for the 11th interview candidate the Colts currently have for the job.

Callahan, 38, is enjoying quite a run at the helm of a Bengals offense that reached the Super Bowl last season and is pushing for a return trip this year, as they play the Bills in the divisional round this weekend. As a passing specialist, he's designed a vertical offense that has allowed Joe Burrow to thrive with Ja'Marr Chase, creating 24 touchdown passes between the two since the Bengals drafted Chase last season.

Callahan is in his fourth season as an offensive coordinator, but he's spent his career around successful quarterbacks. He worked closely with Peyton Manning as an offensive assistant during two Super Bowl runs in Denver. He's also served as a position coach for Matthew Stafford and Derek Carr.
