The Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms on their deal with third-round pick DJ Johnson, Anthony Rizzuti of USA Today's Panthers Wire reports. The outside linebacker, who is now the third member of the team’s class to finalize his pact, was the 80th overall selection of the 2023 NFL draft.
Johnson, a Sacramento, Cali. native, was a four-star recruit out of nearby Luther Burbank High School. Amidst a bevy of offers from some of the nation’s very top programs, he chose to go to the University of Miami (Fla.) for his 2017 campaign.
