Trade talks involving Seattle Seahawks franchise-tagged defensive end Frank Clark have "died down" according to Jay Glazer of The Athletic.

Glazer had previously cited the Buffalo Bills as a potential suitor, though that claim was quickly refuted. Despite some initial trade interest, nobody has stepped up to the plate in recent weeks, signaling that Clark will likely remain a Seahawk in 2019. The 2015 second-rounder has yet to sign his $17.128 million franchise tender and has threatened to hold out if the two sides aren't able to reach a long-term agreement.  Fresh off a career-high 13 sacks in 2018, the 25-year-old Clark is an elite pass rusher who has earned a top-dollar extension.
