The Patriots have "serious interest" in signing free agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster according to Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald.

The Pats just lost Jakobi Meyers in free agency to the Raiders and are looking for a replacement. Smith-Schuster would be a natural fit for Meyers' role as a big slot receiver who can also take reps on the outside. JuJu went for 933 yards and three touchdowns on 78 catches in the regular season last year. Many were expecting him to re-sign with the Chiefs, but after consecutive seasons on one-year contracts, JuJu is likely eyeing a multi-year deal for a better payday.
