Vikings general manager Rick Spielman says the team has "no intent" of trading wide receiver Percy Harvin, Ben Goessling of the St. Paul Pioneer-Press reports. He added that he expects Harvin to be at training camp.
Harvin is entering the final year of his contract, and a handful of reports have suggested he could skip the team's offseason workouts or hold out from training camp without a new deal. The Vikings might need to decide before the draft whether to offer Harvin a long-term contract or attempt to trade him, a decision complicated by his history of injuries and seemingly uneasy relationship with the team.
Spielman said he has not talked with Harvin recently, but has spoken with Harvin's agent, Joel Siegel, and plans to meet with him at the NFL scouting combine next week.
