As Aaron Rodgers’ standoff with the Green Bay Packers goes on, hot takes are coming out from many people. That group now includes legendary former Packers general manager and NFL Hall of Famer Ron Wolf. Speaking about quarterbacks such as Rodgers, Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson trying to make a change to their careers while on long-term deals, Wolf dropped the “diva” tag, Sam Marsdale of 247 Sports reports.

“We have a lot of divas playing in the league right now,” Wolf said in an appearance on the Big Show Network, via ProFootballTalk. “I fail to understand that all these guys have long-term deals. I can’t believe the game has changed that remarkably.”

Speaking last week, former Packers fullback and fan favorite John Kuhn says Rodgers' beef revolves around that topic: his long-term future with the Packers and where the franchise sees the reigning MVP fitting into those plans.

“I’m sure the contract is part of that,” Kuhn said on NFL Network. “I’m sure that years guaranteed is a part of that. Not just being a highest-paid quarterback or the highest paid at your position. But I believe the security going forward is a part of that, and I also believe being on the same page as having open communication where all sides feel like they are being heard.

"Aaron and I are friends. We spent a decade of our lives together in the same meeting rooms, on the same practice field. So we do talk. And quite frankly this is something that I believe is fixable.”
