The Detroit Lions have signed first-round wide receiver Jameson Williams to a four-year contract according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

The deal comes with a fifth-year option.  The Lions traded up from No.32 all the way to No.12 to draft Williams, who was widely considered one of the highest-upside prospects in the entire draft.  He likely would not have been available at No.12 if not for a torn ACL suffered in Alabama's loss to Georgia in the National Championship game.

The 21-year-old Williams has said he expects to be ready for training camp.  He likely will not be at full speed for the first half of the season and his production during his rookie year may also be dampened by the limitations of Lions QB Jared Goff.  But the sky is the limit for Williams' NFL career and he should be a top pick in dynasty drafts this summer.
