Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore is holding out of OTAs and wants a new contract according to Joel Erickson of the Indianapolis Star.

Originally an undrafted free agent out of Valdosta State, Moore has spent all five of his NFL seasons in Indianapolis playing the slot and is arguably the team's most valuable defensive back.  He has appeared in all 33 of the Colts' regular season games the past two seasons, led all Indy corners in snaps in 2021, and has posted back-to-back four interception campaigns.  Moore was also one of the breakout stars of HBO Max's in-season version of Hard Knocks last fall.

The 26-year-old corner is scheduled to collect $6.5 million in 2022 and $6.795 million next year. He likely wants an extension that pushes him closer to $10 million annually.  Given his value to the team, he is likely worth it.
