Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury addressed on Thursday the incident involving wide receiver Marquise Brown, who was arrested and charged with criminal speeding on Wednesday morning in Phoenix, Caio Miari of The Score reports.

"He knows he needs to be better than that," Kingsbury said, according to Paul Calvisi of 98.7 Arizona Sports.

Kingsbury added that Brown was going from his house to the stadium when police stopped him, according to team reporter Darren Urban.

"We are still working through the details of it all. ... Unfortunate incident, you can't be doing that, and we wanted to get him back involved (on the field)," the 42-year-old coach said.

Brown practiced with the Cardinals on Thursday, though his participation was limited. The 25-year-old is nursing a hamstring injury, but Kingsbury expects the wideout to be a full-go soon.

"We had hoped maybe this weekend, but we're going to be smart. When he's back, I want him full speed and confident," Kingsbury said Wednesday before the news of Brown's arrest, according to Tyler Drake of 98.7 Arizona Sports.
