Christian McCaffrey was playing through calf discomfort in the 49ers Divisional Round win over the Cowboys according to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.

He was not on the field for the majority of the snaps near the end of the game -- those went to Elijah Mitchell -- though McCaffrey did appear on one key third down play. McCaffrey said that he "was fighting but made it through" when asked after the game. It's likely that McCaffrey will be managed in practice this week, as he has most of the last few months, but he should continue to be utilized heavily against the Eagles in the NFC Championship game.
