A reunion of sorts could be in play for the Jaguars and veteran defensive lineman Calais Campbell, who visited with the team Thursday, a source with knowledge of the situation told Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times-Union.

It is not yet clear whether or not Campbell will ultimately sign with the team or not.

Campbell, 36, spent three years with the Jaguars from 2017-19 and has since played the last three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens after being traded to the team at the start of the new league year in 2020.

During his time in Jacksonville, Campbell quickly became a cornerstone of the Jaguars' defense. He accounted for 31.5 sacks, 195 total tackles, 44 tackles for loss and 77 quarterback hits. He earned First-team All-Pro honors in 2017 and was named to the Pro Bowl all three years he was with the club.

In his career, Campbell has made the Pro Bowl six times and was the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year in 2019, the league's most prestigious honor.
