The Cleveland Browns have signed veteran free agent wide receiver Marquise Goodwin to a one-year deal according to Field Yates of ESPN.

As far as we know, the Browns were the only team pursuing Goodwin at this time.  Originally a third-round pick of the Bills out of Texas in 2013, Goodwin spent the 2022 season in Seattle and posted a 27/387/4 line in 13 games.  He has also played for the Bills, 49ers, and Bears but has not topped 400 yards in any of his past four seasons.  The speedy wideout is now 32 years old and is a better athlete than receiver.  He'll likely serve as the fourth receiver in Cleveland behind Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and Donovan Peoples-Jones.
