The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a surprising 2-0 this season but in the process have lost one of their key running backs for multiple weeks according to Jordan Schultz of the Schultz Report.
Veteran Chase Edmonds suffered a grade 2 MCL sprain in the win over the Bears Sunday and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks. A stint on injured reserve seems likely, which will keep him out at least four weeks.
The 27-year-old Edmonds signed a one-year deal for the veteran minimum to come to Tampa this offseason. Originally a fourth-round pick of the Cardinals, his primary success has been in Arizona but he has also played for the Dolphins and Broncos.
