Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison is expected to play on Sunday night against the Denver Broncos, Tyler Forness of USA Today's Vikings Wire reports. This according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Mattison suffered a concussion against the New Orleans Saints this past Sunday and felt like a longshot to play early in the week. Head coach Kevin O’Connell believed that Mattison could playas he was progressing through the concussion protocol well.
When he does suit up on Sunday, he will become just the second player this season to play the week after suffering a concussion, joining Brock Purdy.
