The NFL is staying silent on the sticky situation between the Jets and their former receiver Mecole Hardman, Ryan Dunleavy of The New York Post reports.
As first suggested by players Sauce Gardner and Kenny Yeboah on their social-media accounts, the Jets believe that a disgruntled Hardman leaked game-plan specifics to the Eagles and Chiefs ahead of matchups last season, according to a SNY report.
Hardman fired back by saying “false accusations” were made about his character and he has “never and would never leak game plans to another team.”
The NFL declined comment when asked if it is investigating the situation involving one of the stars of Super Bowl 2024, according to Pro Football Talk.
Hardman, who was traded to the Chiefs in October, caught the game-winning touchdown pass in overtime to beat the 49ers.
