Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson is considered week-to-week after being carted off the practice field Tuesday due to an ankle injury, Caio Miari of theScore reports. This according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler who cites sources.
Wilson is dealing with an ankle sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who adds that it's believed the 23-year-old will be ready for Week 1.
The injury was apparently sustained on a jet sweep, and Wilson exited practice on a cart.
The Steelers drafted Wilson in the third round in April after he enjoyed a standout career at Michigan. His absence at camp could create a depth problem for the team's wide receiver room.
