Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told the media Tuesday that Russell Wilson's practice participation will increase this week according to Brooke Pryor of ESPN.
Still struggling through a severe calf injury, Wilson could see some practice reps but Justin Fields is fully expected to remain the Steelers’ quarterback. Fields has done an excellent job as Arthur Smith’s game manager, ranking as one of the NFL’s most accurate passers after struggling with accuracy issues in Chicago.
Wilson’s only path to playing time would be a Fields injury.
