Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is off the injury report but wideout Jaylen Waddle is doubtful for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers according to Grant Gordon of NFL.com.

Tua is dealing with a hip injury.  "It's something that in December football, there's a lot of those things where players across the board are getting dinged, and you have to be able to execute with those things," head coach Mike McDaniel explained. "He's certainly not made it an issue for this week's prep."

Unfortunately, the news is not as positive for Waddle.  He suffered a knee injury in the Week 15 loss to the Texans and has been unable to practice all week. Waddle is fourth on the team in receptions (54), third in receiving yards (700) and fourth in receiving TDs (2).

Sitting in the ninth spot in the AFC, the Dolphins need a win to earn an 9% playoff probability. They're also looking to rally down the stretch to prevent the club's first losing season since 2019.
