The Denver Broncos believe wholeheartedly they've found their franchise quarterback, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.

Now, it's all about building around Bo Nix.

That was the message conveyed by Broncos general manager George Paton -- along with head coach Sean Payton and owner Greg Penner -- on Wednesday.

"We're all searching for that, for that rookie quarterback who has franchise skills," Paton said, via team transcript. "I think we have that. So, what do we do? We just keep building."

"I'm really encouraged, and I'm glad that he's with us and that it worked out the way it did," coach Sean Payton said. "I know this: He's very conscientious. He comes in. He spends a lot of time here. He was here in my office for half an hour yesterday. I think it's all in front of him. I've said this before -- I think we've found that player that can lead us and be what we need relative to having the success we're used to having. I think we've found it."
