Aaron Rodgers’ decision on which team to sign with is “all about the situation and fit, not about money” according to Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports.
The 41-year-old Rodgers, who has reportedly had “great conversations” with the Giants, is still on the fence about signing with New York or the Steelers. Rodgers, per Vacchiano, “is seemingly hoping the Vikings will get involved (and I still think it’s possible that they will).”
Malik Nabers could present an intriguing selling point for the fading Rodgers, though the Steelers’ addition of DK Metcalf — to go along with George Pickens — would also prove enticing if Rodgers is in fact prioritizing situation over money. Rodgers in 2024 ranked 24th out of 32 qualifying QBs in drop back success rate.
