League sources have been made aware of the “potential availability” of Jets running back Breece Hall within “the last week and a half” according to NFL insider Josina Anderson

Who knows what is true this time of year, but Anderson’s report comes a month after new Jets coach Aaron Glenn was far from glowing in his assessment of his new lead back. Glenn, you may remember, emphasized having “three running backs,” pledging each would be "(utilized) as much as possible.” Perhaps they are willing to move on from Hall in the final year of his rookie contract.

Stranger things have certainly happened. It has been too quiet on the NFL trade front. Maybe things will begin shaking loose Thursday afternoon.
