A trade is being finalized that will send Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for draft pick compensation, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The trade is expected to be finalized Wednesday.
The move comes with Pickens eligible for a contract extension as he enters the final year of his rookie deal. Steelers general manager Omar Khan had said in February that they were looking to reach a deal with Pickens but ultimately are set to move on.
Adding Pickens gives quarterback Dak Prescott another high-profile wide receiver target to pair with CeeDee Lamb.
Pickens, 24, had 59 catches for 900 yards and three touchdowns last season. He posted at least 50 receptions, 800 yards and three touchdowns in each of his three seasons with the Steelers.
