The Patriots appear to have taken another step toward being ready for the 2025 season with the signing of the team’s first-round pick to a four-year deal, Hayden Bird of the Boston Globe reports.
Offensive tackle Will Campbell, selected fourth overall by New England in the recent NFL Draft, has agreed to a four-year deal worth $43.66 million in a “fully guaranteed rookie contract,” according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The deal also reportedly includes a $28.39 million signing bonus, and was brokered by Roc Nation Sports.
“Campbell has signed it,” Rapoport noted upon sharing the news on social media Tuesday afternoon.
Campbell, 21, was selected out of LSU to help rebuild a porous offensive line that hampered quarterback Drake Maye during his rookie season in 2024.
“I’m gonna fight and die to protect [Patriots quarterback Drake Maye] with everything I’ve got,” Campbell emphatically declared on draft night.
