Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said Tuesday he's not worried about quarterback C.J. Stroud despite his limitations at the team's organized team activities this spring, Caio Miariof theScore reports.

Stroud hasn't thrown at practice due to a tight shoulder muscle, sources told Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2.

"There's no concerns with C.J," Ryans said, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. "It's just general soreness. We're taking extra precaution(s) with him, but he'll be good to go. No concerns on my end there."

"He will throw when he's ready to go," the sideline boss added, per Cody Stoots of Houston Football.

Stroud - the 2023 No. 2 pick - took the NFL by storm and posted an excellent debut season en route to earning Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. He wasn't as good in Year 2, but the Texans still won the AFC South and reached the divisional round for a second straight campaign.
