The Chargers signed edge defender Bud Dupree to a one-year contract extension on Wednesday, Gavino Borquez of Chargers Wire reports.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported it is a $6 million extension for Dupree, who was heading into the final year of his deal due to make a base salary of $1.995 million this upcoming season.

Signed last offseason by Los Angeles, Dupree appeared in every game, logging six sacks and six tackles for loss. He also amassed two passes defended and a forced fumble.

Dupree began his career with the Steelers after being selected in the first round in 2015. After six seasons with Pittsburgh, he signed with the Titans and spent two seasons with them. Dupree then signed with the Falcons in 2023.
