Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase Drops Shocking Truth Bomb On Jalen Ramsey Spitting Incident

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has come clean on the spitting incident against Jalen Ramsey during last week’s road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The All-Pro cornerback was ejected from last week’s game after throwing a sucker punch at Ja’Marr Chase. Jalen Ramsey later told reporters that Chase had spat on him during their altercation, something the Bengals star denied doing.
The league reviewed video footage of their incident and suspended Chase for Sunday’s Week 12 home game against the New England Patriots, a 26-20 Cincy loss. With the suspension served, Chase has decided to come clean.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, Chase admitted to spitting on Ramsey and apologized to both organizations and the fans. Chase promised to learn from it and “set a higher standard for myself moving forward.”
The Bengals kept it surprisingly close against the Patriots without their star receiver, but considering it was a six-point game, it’s not a stretch to suggest Cincinnati would have won with Ja’Marr Chase on the field.
The good news? The Bengals will get Chase and Joe Burrow back together for their Thursday night road game against the Baltimore Ravens.
2025 Has Been Another Frustrating Year For Ja’Marr Chase & Bengals

With Burrow missing the Bengals’ last nine games with a turf toe injury he suffered in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Zac Taylor’s group predictably fell out of the NFL postseason race.
Now, Ja’Marr Chase has done his part to keep the team competitive with 79 receptions for 861 yards and five touchdowns, per Pro Football Reference. But a horrible defense (allowing a league-high 32.7 points per game) has wasted some strong performances from Joe Flacco and the passing game.
At 3-8, winning out isn’t going to be enough for Cincy to make the postseason. But they can finish the year on a high note by embracing the “spoiler” role and defeating playoff-hopeful clubs, beginning with the AFC North-leading Ravens on Sunday.
