Shedeur Sanders made Cleveland Browns history on Sunday as he led the team to a win in his first start, yet he couldn’t get any love from head coach Kevin Stefanski.

The former Colorado star is 1-0 as a starter, becoming the first Browns quarterback to win a debut game as a rookie since 1995, having previously come on as a sub. 

Shedeur’s first start yielded a 24-10 win for the Browns. He completed 11-of-20 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Having endured constant criticism since entering the NFL as a fifth-round pick, the QB rose to the occasion with an impressive performance that included a 50-yard completion. Still, his coach was frugal with the compliments despite being hyped in the locker room after the win.

“Another rookie making his first start, nice job Shedeur.”

The above was all he could muster. He also reserved the game ball for Myles Garrett, who had three sacks on the day.

“It pained Stefanski to give Sanders credit where it’s due 😂,” someone observed.

“Hahaha he threw that Shedeur mention in real fast and moved on 😂😂😂,” another commented.

“Damnn first browns qb to win his first start in how many years? 200 passing yards  and a tuddy, 50 yard completion that hasn’t happened in 17games…  he couldn’t get a game ball?😭😭🤣🤣,” someone else laughed.

“This coach clearly doesn’t f**k with Sanders LMFAOO dry a$$ compliment “nice job” ….,” another comment read.

“Bro hates 12 😭 “nice job Shedeur” after that performance with only 1 week of preparation,” someone else claimed.

Shedeur Sanders had a message for the people who wanted to see him fail on Sunday, letting them know it’s not going to happen. Fans seem to think his coach was one of them.
