Malik Nabers Goes Nuclear: Accuses His Giants of Deliberately Tanking Game vs. Lions In Since-Deleted Tweet

Malik Nabers thinks something weird was going on with the New York Giants on Sunday.
Nabers, who has been out for the season since tearing his ACL, was disappointed in a Twitter media post after Sunday’s loss to the Lions, so much so that he had to take it down shortly thereafter.
Nabers did not mince words and was very candid about his thoughts on the offensive play calling in a social media post, even suggesting that the Giants were intentionally trying to lose.
The team’s play-calling in the fourth quarter was questionable as they opted to go for it on fourth down, up three points. The Giants turned the ball over, and the Lions drove down the field and tied the game on a Jake Bates 59-yard field goal.
“Sometimes I think they (be) making us lose on purpose!” he wrote on X.
Malik Nabers posted and quickly deleted this after the Giants fell to 2-10 😬

“Cause it’s no way, bro you throw the ball instead of runnin it to make em burn 2 timeouts?? Then you (don’t) kick the field goal??? Then they have to go down and score!!! Football common sense!!!! Am I missing something?”
Malik Nabers would soon delete the tweet, but not before NFL media and fans alike took a screenshot.
Malik Nabers Makes An Already Tough Season Even Worse

It wasn’t left up for very long, but Malik Nabers aired out his frustrations with the New York Giants on Sunday.
Nabers blasted his team on social media following their wild overtime loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
The Giants sit at just 2-10 and have now lost six straight games, marking another miserable season. Sunday’s loss made them the first team to be officially eliminated from the playoffs.
The team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2022 and has only made it twice since winning the Super Bowl during the 2011 campaign.
Nabers is still recovering from a torn ACL in his right knee, a surgery that a Dallas Cowboys doctor performed.
The team will also be looking for a new head coach after the team fired Brian Daboll.
